BALL HEAD MAINTENANCE
Consistently cleaning and correctly maintaining your Really Right Stuff ball head will extend its life and keep it performing like brand-new for a longer amount of time. For a ball head, your best tool is compressed air. Water can be used, but should be avoided if possible, as the water can become trapped within the unopenable ball head and potentially corrode the internal components. If you do use water, don’t pair it with any chemicals harsher than a gentle dishwashing agent. For removing dirt, mud, and most other contaminants, nothing more is required, other than elbow grease.
