This manual covers features and installation for both lens plates and replacement feet.
Section 1- Compatability
Each RRS Lens Foot is designed to be compatible with a camera lens that is currently available for purchase. We currently offer Lens Feet for the following camera lens models:

Section 2- ANATOMY
1. Lens Plate or Lens Collar Replacement Foot: Lens Plates mount to the bottom of the lens collar foot. Lens Collar Replacement Feet: This will replace the manufacturer's stock foot.
2. Anti-Twist Flange: Some plates have an integral flange, and others have an optional flange
included. Install an optional flange if the foot has only 1 mounting socket.
3. Mounting Slot: This is where the Mounting Screw is installed. The slot is threaded at one end; slide the screw to the thread end to unscrew & remove.
4. Safety Stop Screws: These screws help prevent accidental release. Longer plates have 2 safety stop screws while shorter plates have 1.
5. Holes: These are for backward compatibility with legacy Flash Arms (not on all models).
6. Strap Lug: For optional carrying strap (not on all models).
7. Accessory Tripod Sockets: Threaded 1/4"-20 and/or 3/8"-16 holes for accessories.
8. Dovetail: Grooves on both sides.
9. QD Socket: For optional QD Strap (some models do not have this feature).

Section 3- INSTALLATION
Lens Plate Installation
Step 1: Put your lens plate over your lens foot with the slot on the bottom of the plate lining up with the mounting socket on the bottom of your lens foot.
Step 2: Loosely install the lens plate to the foot of your lens using the included screw and hex key
Step 3: Push the flange* snugly against the back of the lens foot.
*If your lens plate came with an optional flange and your lens has only 1 mounting socket, you must install the flange.
How to install Flange to Lens Plate:
Step 1: Remove your mounting screw from the plate by Sliding the mounting screw into the threaded slot at the end of your plate, and unscrew.
Step 2: Install the flange with the flat side toward the flattest edge of your lens foot. install as shown below.
Step 3: Replace the mounting screw.
Step 4: Place the lens foot onto the Lens Plate with the back against the flange.
Step 5: Screw the mounting screw into the thread on the bottom of your lens foot.
Lens foot Installation
Step 1: Use the proper tool (screwdriver, hex key, etc...) to remove the manufacturer's lens foot, and
keep the screws.
Step 2: Line up the replacement foot, and re-install mounting screws.
Step 3: Tighten the mounting screws firmly.
Using the QD socket
Our QD socket accepts industry-standard push-button QDmounts. The QD socket must be kept free of dirt or grit to allow the QD mount to fully seat and snap into the socket. Always check that the QD mount on your strap/swivel is fully seated and completely engaged before use.
