2. Attaching the MPM-01 to Your Phone

Step 1 – Confirm Compatibility

Ensure your phone or phone case is MagSafe compatible. The magnetic array in the MPM-01 is designed to align automatically with MagSafe geometry.

Step 2 – Attach Magnetically

Place the MPM-01 against the back of your device.
It will automatically center and lock into place using its high-strength magnetic array.

Step 3 – Adjust Your Viewing Angle

Rotate the phone freely:

  • Turn portrait → landscape or vice versa

  • Angle the device slightly as needed for video, messaging, shooting, or monitoring

3. Attaching the MPM-01 to RRS & Other Support Gear

Option A – Attach via RRS Dovetail Clamp

  1. Open your RRS dovetail clamp.

  2. Insert the mount’s built-in 1.5" dovetail.

  3. Tighten the clamp until secure.
    This is ideal for tripod heads, travel tripods, and modular RRS components.

Option B – Attach via Bottom 1/4"-20 Socket

Use any photo/video support device with a 1/4"-20 male stud:

  • Ball heads

  • Desk arms

  • Light stands

  • Mini tripods

Thread the stud securely into the MPM-01’s bottom socket.

Option C – Attach via Upright 3/8"-16 + ARRI compatible Anti-Twist Interface

The MPM-01 includes an upright 3/8"-16 threaded accessory socket surrounded by ARRI compatible anti-twist holes, for:

  • Aftermarket magic arms

  • Industry-standard articulating arms

  • Anti-twist locating pins
