Maintenance
Jaws:
To avoid damage to Vyce® or gear, keep the surfaces clean by periodically wiping the textured grips and clamp jaw with a clean, damp cloth.
Threads:
Normal usage will push debris out of the threads and guide rails. If threads feel gritty, extend VYCE® to the widest setting (do not extend past 3" gap), wash threads and guide rails with soapy water, rinse and repeat. Once finished, re-apply a small amount grease to threads and guide rails before returning to closed position and begin regular use.
VR-76 Rail (paired with original Vyce®)
Use VYCE® with VR-76 rail for mounting in any RRS®-style quick-release clamp. The VR-76 rail mounts to the VYCE® with two 3/8"-16 screws.

Large textured knob. Deep knurling for maximum grip with gloves or wet hands. Captive to prevent disassembly in the field.

Knob rotates a fast-start double-thread.
- Wedging jaws force object downward into bottom pad to enhance grip strength.
Clamping range from 1" to 3".
⚠️ DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE KNOB
Quickly tighten the knob to close the jaws and secure your subject in place.
