You used to make a custom plate for my camera, but no longer do; why?

When demand decreases over a reasonable amount of time for a particular camera's plate system, it will be discontinued in order to keep production resources devoted to active, in-demand plates.
Since the core function/performance of our plates do not diminish with time or use, sourcing an older plate through a used marketplace, such as eBay, KEH, Adorama, or B&H Photo is advisable.
